It’s also believed that children find same-sex parents to be more available, dependable and LOVE, SAFETY, open to discussion on emotional issues. Their children also AND GOOD experience less anxiety and depression when growing up. PARENTING. WHY IS THIS THE CASE? Same-sex parents generally raise their children differently to heterosexual parents. There are quite a few evident reasons for this too. Notably, for same sex-parents having a child is a very conscious decision that requires extensive planning, motivation and financial outlay. Hence, these pregnancies are intentional and the child is wanted, anticipated and welcomed into a loving home.
