LEMON & CONDENSED. MILK FRIDGE TART PREP TIME: 30 MINUTES INGREDIENTS 1can condensed milk | 500 ml milk 3 tbsp sugar 4 tbsp custard powder 50-100 ml lemon juice (depending on tartness desired) 1 packet tennis biscuits PREPARATIONS . TO prepare the base of the tart, you can either place whole tennis biscuits at the base of a Freezer Mate 1 L or alternatively crush tennis biscuits with a Xtra Chef / Herb Chopper and add melted butter in a That’s A Bowl and mix together. Spoon the mixture into the base of the Freezer Mate and create a thin base and Leave to stand. 2. In a Quick Shake blend the condensed milk and lemon juice together until it increases in volume and thickens. /jp: Add 50ml of Lemon Juice at a time to ensure the desired tartness. 3. Mix custard powder, sugar and 50ml of milk in bowl Add remaining 450 ml milk and stir. 4. Place mixture in saucepan and on medium heat bring custard mixture to the boil, stirring constantly until it thickens. 5. Pour half of the custard mixture over the base of tennis biscuits. Add another Layer of tennis biscuits. Pour remaining custard mixture over the next layer of biscuits. 6. Follow with condensed and lemon juice mixture. Crumble some tennis biscuits with Herb Chopper and place as final Layer to your tart. Cool in fridge for at least 4-6 hours until it sets.
